I love your car. it looks fucking amazing, i can't wait to see more progress and pics of it rolling down the road. it seriously looks beautiful man, if i saw it in person i'd probably have a heart attack. don't let these haters get to. as long as you are building the car the way you want it then you have nothing to worry about it. keep up the incredible work!

a wiser man realizes when he's fucked up, and today you're absolutely right before starting on some back and forth immature shit, i should have looked around and read carefully.
you've been working hard on this, and for your satisfaction I hope it pulls together and becomes what it could potentially be. |

This car is like...
"I want to buy a car with pussy magnet." "I want to have a car that will attract a women who is shave down bellow." Pardon the vulgarity... but it's true.

Been subscribed to this thread since the 3rd page and I must say its worth the time waiting between updates to see what else you have done. I dont understand why there are so many fucking people even opening their mouths with anything but praise.
KIDS No one give a fuck about your opinion!! He has explained every decision and route hes taken. If you have a question he probably already answered it in deep detail, read you illiterate fucks, READ!! This a fucking proper build thread and those of us that have been around Zilvia and tuning long enough know that this is something your rarely get to see in a lifetime and you have perfectly documented it. The fact of the matter is there are maybe a handfull of people on this site that have the testicular fortitude to rock rainbow calipers, this car shits on 90% of the tuned cars in the states right now. This car makes entire issues of magazines completely moot, lol. My s13 project is taking so many cues from this build, and even though it was never intended to be on the same scale, my goal is very similar in cleanliness and attention to detail. Thanks to this thread I know exactly what my wiring harness/boards should and will look like. I must say you get the utmost respect from me (as if that mattered) and I can only pray that someday I too have the skills and resources to build something of this magnitude. no homo you guys really need to shut the fuck up and read, there is immense amounts of knowledge imparted to you in this thread and you guys are bitching over fucking wheel fitment. Shut your fucking mouth and learn something......

This might be my new signature. Back on topic, I was kind of hoping that there would be a real update, but cursed, do what you're doing, I have 3 friends deployed at the moment in the mountains of afghanistan, so I'm sure you likely have other things on your mind other than sorting out more important, life changing things like wheel offset. Have you made a concrete decision on the transmission you're going with? I know you've been waffling on that subject for a while.

Sorry, that little piece of gold is mine now =D
Anyways, I don't give a fuck what anyone thinks, I can dig it, I know every anti-hater says this, but seriously, who's fucking car is it? Yours. Build it the way you want it. |

Still in Iraq for now. I plan on getting to post up some new pictures in November when I go to the shop for a progress visit. I have however, bee trying to source parts and important parts at that.
- Might have scored a phenomenal Deal on a newly Refreshed HKS dog Box (The first generation Holinger type), but I am waiting for my friend to get back to me. Basically, if one guy drops out from buying it within a certain time, that fucker is mine with new clutch, extra parts and a machined transfer for 2WD. - Got an R34 V Spec Rear End for it (The output flanges are different and the Final gear ratio is 3.54), had it dropped off at the shop last week. Will post up some pics of that as soon as I transfer them out of e-mail. - EDITED - Got the list of parts that were received - Split Fire Coil Packs, Garage Saurus Crank Pulley, New Coolant Lines, Turbo Gasket Kit, Profec B Spec II (New dealie that everyone else has), Rebuilt alternator, Starter, Silk Road Induction Light, Low Temp Thermostat. The goal is to make sure the engine will run right and then move from there. BUT like I said, I will be in Okinawa November 14-19 and will take some pictures of progress made. It is killing me that I am not the one finishing it, but I just straight ran out of time. Thought this thread was going to hibernate for a while?? Last edited by CursedGTR; 08-12-2009 at 12:34 PM.. |

What would be awesome if there was a clif notes version of this thread. With just Cursedgtr's posts, because all of the posts of omfg i love you be the father of my baby because your car has been done with such taste. Dont get me wrong I understand the need to tell someone nice car, and shit like that, I even posted one of these omg i love you car posts earlier in the thread, but 34 pages into it, and Im getting tired of reading peoples comments about meaningless shit, like regestration, wheel fitment, or dumb shit like when are you going to wash it or whats that spot on the trunk. It's like sifting through hay looking for the needle.
