That may help- the holes that bolt the latch to the core support are slotted to allow you to move the height up and down a bit. You could probably even slot them more if you need more adjustment. Might not solve the issue but may be worth a try! Hope it works.

I'm currently running a cf msport hood on my zenki. With an sr, I just altered one of my intercooler pipe sections, by a quarter inch. No clearance issues.

I'm also running drift freaq engine mounts, and electric fans with their own shroud so no giant stock shroud if that helps.

I had to cut and end off my strut tower bar, flatten it some then have it re-welded.

With OEM motor mounts, an STB and the DMAX hood there is literally no room for anything else in there, business card clearance. If I had an S14 SR I'd be fucked.

Still trying to figure out which hood I have. I bought it off a friend and it had no makings on it. It's basically an OEM replica with venting at the cowl.

I'd agree that cowl is more for getting air into the bay, prolly why it's big on carb/itb engines. Vents should be better at extraction

Msport cf zenki S14. excuse the rest of the car. hot tip, the aerocatch 125 series is a bit sketchy on thin carbon fiber.
