I need to replace the rack and pinon boot on my drivers side. After replacing the power steering pressure line, I noticed a large crack and separation in the boot.

Any tips on replacing the boot?

Anything I need to do to make sure it works well once I get a new boot on?

watch this video. it tells you pretty much all you need to know and takes you step by step. Its a video on how to replace tierods but its pretty much what you will be doing. Hope it helps.
