91 s13 pass door lock

i have had a problem for about a year with the passenger door not unlocking. i had to remove the door panel with the door closed (PITA). got it unlocked. I unhooked the rod that allows it to be locked and left the door panel off. My passengers can deal with it.

now ( a year later) the door only opens from the inside. I think its time for me to repair it properly. I dont think the spinning mechanism is moving enough. does anyone have pictures of how this works or knows of where i could find some videos/pictures. Thanks

I have searched the forum but could not find any decent pictures. The FSM has a picture but its unreadable

so no one responded...thats great

problem was the whole assembly in the door was loose and the cable that opens the door was bent a little and got too short. Which means there was always a little tension on it so when i went to lock or unlock it the mechanism could not do it. I straightened out the cable and everything works perfectly.
