Ronin Engineering Motor Mounts?

Search yielded no relevant results.

Has anyone had any experience with these mounts?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/240sx-polyur...95f90d&vxp=mtr

It's between these and the Megan Racing set which go for about the same price. These interest me because they're polyurethane and the studs do not run all the way through the mounts which reduces vibrations.

You're perpetuating a legitimate issue that many of the members on here and other forums display. I didn't ask if I should get the Nismo mounts or not. This thread is about the Ronin mounts. Your comment is irrelevant and unsolicited.

They look like drfitfreq's (sp?) style of mounts, which of course look like all custom mount options. But these look as if they are formed.

I bought the megans, but these would have been a great option too. See if the seller will send you more information and actual photos, either installed or out of the packaging.

As long as you monitor them, give it a shot!

Preach.

Yeah they remind me of the drift freaq mounts as well. I contacted the eBay vendor and this is what they had to say. You can see my original message at the bottom and their reply at the top.

I searched around for any word from the Miata guys but got practically nothing. I now feel more confident in trying these out and will most likely be ordering them sometime next month.

But the Megan Racing mounts are also within my budget. How do you like them? People say that they are virtually the same as the Nismo mounts but I've read that Nismos get soft after a year or so and feel like stock mounts. What's your experience been like?

Thanks man.

They are holding up great. That being said they are stiff, not solid mounts stiff, but more like Michael J. Fox shaky.

I'm glad I didn't just "buy the Nismo ones," since Ronin Engineering actually saw this thread and contacted me and offered to send me a set in exchange for a review. I got them in the other day and installed them today, and my initial impressions are positive. Look out for a review soon. Speaking of, is there a particular section that I should post my review on here?
