Thanks for the comments. ^_^
By the way, that was NOT ME in those pictures. That's a guy working for Bozz Performance. It took him only about 30 minutes. Pretty quick, even though he was moving slowly. They told me to stay outside the garage so that's why there aren't any close-up pictures. The exhaust is badass. The sound is very deep. I was worried that it would be too loud but it really isn't. Haha, my girlfriend didn't even notice it when I picked her up from school (until she found the receipt). Definitely louder than stock though (gets kinda noisy inside), but it makes no sound at all during normal idling. Performance-wise, I have no numbers to compare, so I don't know how much improvement there is. It didn't feel any different, to me at least. I don't drive at WOT much so it'd be hard for me to notice any difference. $#!+... Just noticed a typo in one of the pictures. Gotta fix that. |

the link still works for me. u didn't notice much difference in sound? so is it safe to say it's not a loud exhaust that makes ur car sound like a bumble bee? cuz if it isn't, i might change my mind on the n1 dual just b/c my car is n/a. what's the piping on that again, sorry.

BlankFlip: No there is a big difference in sound. It is clearly louder, but not so loud like it's shouting, "HEY EVERYONE LOOK AT HOW ANNOYING I AM!" I don't consider it a loud exhaust, but it is louder than stock. (There's also a silencer that you can add to the tip if you decide it's too loud.) And yes it's safe to say it doesn't sound like a bumble bee. It's a very deep sound. And at high RPMs what I mostly hear is my intake. The piping diameter is 60.5mm. That's 2.47", I think. The tip is 90mm, or 3.67". (I used INCH = mm / 24.5. Is that correct?)
icon: Yeah that's the Bozz Performance in Fremont, southeast Bay Area. They were all right. Friendly, not annoying or anything. The only bad thing was that they had to reschedule my installation appointment to a day later, but they did call to set a new time instead of making me wait for hours (like WheelWorks...bastards). I took my car in 30 minutes early and was out in less than an hour. Pretty good service. |

Danio: I commend you on you're guest. Hey I want the N1 Dual because well I want Ricers to chase me on the highway not me chasing them. Well I guess I have ricer mentally too but I don't care. Hey how much for you're cat back? You're intake do you have too take off you're extension when it rains? Does it snow were you at? After I saw the pic I want a intake that too.

that's cool, i'm kinda debating on whether i wanna get the fireball or n1 dual now. by the way, the conversion is 1 in = 25.4 so the piping is 2.38 n the tip is 3.54, i know i sound like a dork right now but oh well. i'm glad it's not one of those "HEY EVERYONE LOOK AT HOW ANNOYING I AM" exhausts, cuz i really wanna stay away from that. i still can't find how much of an imporvement the n1 dual would be over the fireball though, i can c w/ a turbo but can't justify it for an n/a.

Whoops. 25.4. My bad. I originally wanted the N1 Dual also, but recently found the Fireball for a lower price and it's for NA so...ya.

No I never had to take off the cold air extension for rain. I doubt that water would ever get past the filter or soak it up. Nah it doesn't snow in the SF Bay Area. |

they make the dual n1 for na's also, it has smaller piping. i've been liking the fireball's lately, but i think i'm gonna go w/ the dual n1 as originally planned.

danio, i can't believe you can't tell a difference in performance. i don't drive at wide open throttle either, but i can notice a huge difference in performance. the car is much quicker. we have roughly the same mods, only difference is my cat is hollowed and i have asp pulley. how long did you have your car before you put the exhaust on?

Hey it's probably just me. Some people said they noticed a big difference with the CAI and I didn't. It's hard to notice the difference cuz how do I know I'm not just stepping on the gas harder? The power band seems to be in the same RPM range as before. And I never wrote down what speed I'm at in what RPM. (Had planned to but forgot.) I'm sure if I had some numbers to compare I'd be able to see the difference but from just driving, I think it's too close to tell. |
