s13 radio harness problem

try to redo my harness prior to install sony head unit that has FAILURE on the screen
i got the diagram from google but i found two blue wires (both on when acc) and two red w/ black stripe (both always on from 12v battery) in my harness

Ok so what's the problem? I would just combine the wires and wire them accordingly to the head unit. The second set of wires might of been put there by a previous owner to power a cd changer or amp.

but these wires look stock i was wondering if all s13 have two blue and two red/black wires?

Go to Walmart and buy an OEM Nissan stereo adapter harness. Takes all the guess-work out of it; and makes for a much cleaner installation.

Do the wires t together or are they separate wires
Maybe there was an eq or something installed before.

They were seperate but in the same oem electrical tape bundle

If your not going to use them and they are not in a plug or socket, snip the end of exposed wire and tape them up. A short there will cause you unwanted problems.
