I was such a fanboy that I bought a Net Yaroze because I wanted to develop my own games......I never used it because I had no clue what I was doing I had it with the rest of mty old school consoles that got swallowed by hurricane Wilma.

for those of you that dont know, Net Yaroze was a development kit for the public. when I had no clue what I was doing, I just used it as a region free playstation

Also, how many of you would come home after partying all night and mess around with the music feature where you could manipulate the graphics to the beat of the music when playing a cd? That was one of my favorite things about the PSone

Hahah I did that all the time. It was almost my primary CD player when friends were over, just to show off.

Chipping a PS1 was so easy, and I think I had a rate of burning anywhere from 1 to 5 games a week haha. I remember having a 100 sleeve AND a 48 sleeve CD wallet and were completely filled and then some. I miss those days.

i played me the shit out of the first one, but the SECOND one... oh fuck. build a park. i'd just make a pool surrounded by pungee pits, and we'd just multiplayer that all day long. like, literally, the entire day.

vigilante 8, jet moto (enigma), armored core (played this religiously, remember the WA-Finger?), castlevania sotn, metal slug, syphon filter (taser = good laughs), dino crisis 2 (awesome weapon system), strider (hard), driver, street fighter alpha 3, crash team racing, diablo (fk'ing hard as well), wipeout series, medal of honor series, einhander (awesome shooter)

now that I think about PS was the bomb, too many classics!

lol. I remember I played FF7 for about a year. I built all my guys up to 99, got the Knights of the Round summon and beat all the monsters at the end. I absolutely picked apart Sephiroth in the end. That game was the absolute shit in terms to pretty much everything. And that soundtrack was unbelievable.

Beating the boss on Parasite eve was easy, well for me at least, now try getting through the "real" ending by doing the Anti-Chrysler building..omg
