The thread dedicated to coupes was closed and the thread dedicated to hatchbacks was also closed. Some of us with S13's would like a thread dedicated to each type so we don't have to weed through the other random car threads to look at pictures of the respective models.

Currently there is a thread dedicated to Zenki S14's with over 25,000 posts.

If these generations are allowed to have their own respective threads, then why were the hatch and coupe threads deemed unnecessary?

I would like to see the former threads unlocked and reopened so we can post our own and other clean coupes and hatches. Surely I mustn't be the only member?

There's already a kouki type x thread, an onevia aero thread, and a silvia aero/coupe love thread.. Hell there's even the anti-aero thread. Pignose and chuki front cars don't look cool enough to justify their own thread anyways...

And why would these have their own threads versus posting in the specific models? Wouldn't that make more sense?

Zilvia has about 10 threads that are actively posted in, why not two more?

I'm guessing the OP wants a S13 Pignose and S13 Chuki thread which would be retarded because it'll mostly consist of people saying "just picked this up!" *posts picture of stock body 240sx* ... Lame.

Fact is... If you have a hatch, you go kouki. If you have a coupe you go silvia front. Or if you're ballin' out of control livin' a thug's life you go s13.5 hatch.

All other options are a joke. S13.4 kouki coupe may be permissible too but meh.

If that was my intent, I would have stated it. All I am looking for is s13 coupe and s13 hatch specific threads. This really isn't a tough topic to grasp, I don't see how you guys are having trouble with it.

For example for the coupe thread, any s13 coupe can be posted regardless of whether it has a chuki front, pignose front, silvia front, s13.4, s13.5, aero, or whatever. Just a thread dedicated to coupes in general. Currently there is no thread dedicated to the various setups. There is a thread where you can post s13's with silvia fronts, but a chuki or pignose front with extensive modifications doesn't fit the thread rules. I don't think every s13 owner finds it prudent to drop $500 on trendy, subjective, aesthetic mods that offer no performance gain (no hate on front end conversions, it's your money do what you want with it). Regardless, I'd like to have a thread where I can look at stock front ends on modified s13's in addition to modified front ends on modified s13's. I appreciate both, but there is no place where one can view the former.

There are only aero specific threads when there could be model specific threads that encompass everything. What you are arguing is similar to saying, "Lets get rid of the 'Zenkis Unite' thread and instead have a 'Zenki's with Z32 brakes only thread'. There may be a lot of nice Zenkis out there without Z32 brakes but they can't post because they don't have that one specific part. All others can just post in the clusterfuck of the post your rides thread even though you may want to post cars that aren't yours."

If your request is permitted then the S14 Zenki and Kouki threads would have to be merged together since they share the same body type, just different front ends.

This biggest problem with this forum is people not respecting that others have different interests and tastes.

I see no problem with people wanting specific threads for different styles, we already have a ton of them. What does it hurt anyone to add another one. If you don't like it, don't look at it.

My personal oppinion is that the hatch and coupe s13 are the most different if we are talking model differences, because we aren't talking facelifts, we are talking 2 very different designs on the same platform, they have a different look and feel, more specifically when the coupe has the silvia front.

I do agree, you can mostly find everything that youre looking for already in other threads, and I don't feel we NEED new threads, but if someone wants them, who cares.

I'm not going to flame you because I don't know who you (who are you again?) but I've helped a ton of people on this forum with their problems and I contribute on a daily basis.

My argument on the subject is logical. Since the OP wants separate threads for S13 body styles and NOT front ends, in order to maintain a level of consistency that would mean the S14 Zenki + Kouki thread would have to be merged since they share the same body. Stupid. Now considering the threads we have currently, one could argue that we should add a PIGNOSE and CHUKI thread, where all pignose fronts go into one thread, and all chuki fronts into another. Moreover, it's a bit unnecessary and will most likely be plagued with drift missiles and stock body 240sx that won't even be worth the bandwidth to waste.

I feel like Zilvia's chat section has a sufficent thread selection for every kind of aero you could possibly do on a S13.

For Pignose and Chuki front ends, there is the Anti-Aero thread. That thread is open to both Coupes and Hatches, Pignose/Chuki/S14 Navan/Zenki/Type-X and its not a huge thread or over-run by 14 guys in my opinion.

If you change aero on a Coupe, it will fall into the Onevia Aero thread or the Coupe Love/Silvia Aero thread if you do the front-end conversion.

If you change aero on a hatch it will go right into the Type-X aero thread, because 90% of kits use Type-X Corners which has been posted in that thread without issues.

Any front-end conversion that isnt non-Factory S13, can easily go right into the S-Chassis Conversion threads.

Just calling it as I see it, theres not point to clutter the chat with more threads.

that part i bolded isnt necessarily true.. if you post a hatch in there that is fully kitted but IS NOT kouki aero/kouki tails, it is instantly flamed and tossed out..

the hatch s13 thread is strictly type x aero, or at least it is supposed to be.. where do all the non type x hatch's go that are kitted?? dont get me wrong, type x kit is good, but it all starts to look the same after a while.. iv got GP sports on my hatch, and because its not stock aero, it doesnt fit in any of the threads..

that is just my though..
