s14 S14 Headlight Switch - Are Zenki & Kouki the same?

I'm trying to figure out if the zenki headlight switches and the kouki headlight switches are the same. I sold one to a guy with a 98 who is having problems.

His high beams are on when the stalk is in the regular position, and low beams on when the stalk is in the high beam position. I sent him a replacement, and it's doing the same exact thing. He's got a 98, so I'm wondering if the switches changed by any chance?

Can anyone confirm?

Thanks,
Ben

They should be the same.. The only thing that changes is the wiring between the kouki and zenki headlights.

But someone correct me if i'm wrong.

Ben,
Thanks for looking into this. Anyone heard of this problem and know of a fix if so?
Thanks

Sounds good. I may just live with it b/c I just put my 240 up for sale in the Winston Salem Craigslist. She is my 3rd, and I bought it for myself for passing the CPA exam last year, but I started my own small practice, and my income is NO WHERE near what it was last year.

Its definitely a 98. That is what is on the title based on the VIN.
