rust area
i have rust on my floor board around the passenger side outter rear seat bolt area ... that is already going through.. i want to just do a scab patch and weld it .. and cut out the rust ... being that its covered by carpet and no one will see it ..
my dad is a welder and said get all the material and he will do it what thinkness of sheet metal to used 1/16 .. 1/8 etc and will it be structurally sound enough to withstand corning and twist from going side ways when i go into boost |

Cut the rust out, remove enough metal so that you are into unrusted material. Mic the good material and buy something of equal gauge or thickness.
