Pembridge Insurance (Canada)? Speeding Tickets? Please read
K im with pembridge insurance in Canada (Ontario)
I pay 200 bucks a month for PLPD on my car and its a 93 SE and im 20 I had a speeding ticket (119 in a 90) has anyone got a similar ticket and what is the damage to your rates? Do they go down when you turn 21 or get your G class?? as well, (and i probably dont want to know this...) will your insurance go up if you get busted with a radar detector? thanks |

Hey man, I live in BC, and out here, and speeding tickets DO NOT have any hit to your insurance rates. We do however, have a points system.
Ex. One speeding ticket is $115/3 points. That means you pay the $115. Once a year, approximately a month before your birthday, you receive a letter with how many points you have accumulated. 3 points is equal to approximately $200. I'm not sure if it's the same in Ontario as it is here in BC. Good luck. |
