i just put a metal HG in my kat and the fucking timing chain that the actual crank drives wont pull up high enough for me to reach where the bolt goes...

how in the hell do i get it to move up besides taking the front cover off and loosening the tensioners because people have done it without doing that

Stick a prybar down in the opening and pry the tensioner back, there's plenty of give unless the piston has popped out.

yeah no shit i just pulled up as hard as i could and bolt went in easy
