Man w/ CTSV & a Car Seat

Drove my first S14 from NJ to Cali in a matter of 4 days...changed my oil when I left, changed my oil again when I got there since I clocked over 3100 miles. Then there's also multiple trips down to Tampa from FL. When I first got the car, I had 28k on it. Two and a half years later, drove cross country and I was sitting at 110k.

Thanks for all the replys.....I do maintain my car....but I just needed some reassurance. FYI The rim shop said its $100 to straighten the wheel.....I am not sure if spending the money on a 15" Enkie is worth it. |

not an s chassis either, but i drove my altima ka with nitrous - sprayed in illinois against a honda - round trip from az to tennessee and then to new york and back. total of three trips - not one hiccup and managed close to 450 miles between fillups. dont knock the iron block nissan engines, they wont let you down if you maintain them. oh yeah, forgot about the same car but with a ka-t in it (same engine as when it had nitrous) pulling a trailer with my gixxer 1100 on it from ny to va and back. no hiccups there either.

Please don't drive it on salted roads, and if you have to then drive it back down here and trade it for a lesser beast of a car. That thing is too clean!

About 3400-3500 miles. From Fort Stewart, GA, to Sacramento, CA, then onto Fort Lewis, WA. Riding with Stance coilovers too. Some of those roads were just horrible! This was with a 190k+ mile KA at the time too. Fan clutch locked up on me in Alabama, but I just kept going until I got to Sacramento before I changed it out.

Drove my s13 with blacktop SR between Colorado and New York 5 times. No AC so I drove the whole way with the sunroof off and windows down. Good times. If your car is well maintained you will have no issues.

I just moved from Detroit MI to Cape Coral, FL. 1290miles and about 20 hours in July, with me in a uhaul, gf driving my ls2 car, and a buddy driving my SR car. They all made it fine. The uhaul trailer had a wheel bearing lock up and catch the tire on fire. Haha but the cars were fine.
