They do lower the engine a bit. About a 1/2 inch compared to Nismo mounts. I cannot honestly tell you about stocks as the stock ones are usually shot and sagging. Lol

Havent installed them yet but they appeared to be about the same height as my Megan racing mounts so we are just leaving them off until we pull the SR out at some time in the future since we don't have much Access to the drivers side for a simple swap lol.

I guess your not using a Lift. It's rather easy to install on a lift.

Ah no. You need a heat shield period even th factory mounts came with a heat shield on the exhaust side due to the mount being right underneath your exhaust manifold.

Some notes from my experience:

- I installed these mounts and the vibrations are SO much less compared to Circuit Sport poly mounts. People used to say my car sounded like a beehive with CS mounts, just idling.

- Id bet it is 1/8th of the vibrations transferred to the cabin compared to CS mounts... I'm very happy I purchased these and ditched the thru-bolt style mount.

- Engine movement is similar to the CS mounts. (which is basically zero)

- I wouldn't be surprised if these mounts helped fix the issue of various hardware backing out.

Hey drift. I still have your yellow engine mounts from way back. I know they are different material but is there a need of upgrading or worry about the rubber deterioration? It's a track car and probably only have 5 to 10 track days on the yellow. I use a dei heatwrap around them to keep the heat off. What you think?

Well if they only have 5-10 track days on them you are probably just fine. They are polyurethane so outside of excessive heat they have a long life. I have friends that have run the Yellows for 3-4 years.We went to the green because we got better adhesion to the metal as the higher durometer did flex as much meaning less possible twisting motion which can affect the adhesion.
