I am getting ready to purchase a SR20DET and I was searching a bit but need the newest information. Where is the best prices or most reliable place to get an sr ?

Requesting the newest information for something that is a good bit of money, doesn't seem "newbish" to ask about. More of precaution, and asking other forum members that have dealt with them should help.

If you are looking for a 1500$ sr, then cross your fingers.

Some reliable companies on the east coast are 240SXmotoring.com/CIPmotorsports.com, Heavy Throttle, and JGY Customs.

I went with CIPmotorsports and Jeff has been wonderful in assisting me with my motor and parts all of the time. So I would tell you to do your business there.

There are more reliable places to buy from, but those were the three that I pursued when I was doing my research into buying my s14 sr20det blacktop.

i got it from phase2, a lil pricy but i didnt want a busted lantern if you know what i mean. if u gonna REBUILD THE BLOCK ANYWAY, then i would get ebay or call Venus Auto. have fun
