Some of these reactions to these "newb/stupid statements" make us 240sx owner look like a douchebag. There is one thing when someone really don't know something about our cars and say something stupid and you can try to correct them vs acting straight like an ass who know everything. I usually only walk away when I try to correct a person more than 2 or 3 times - otherwise you might seem like an omgjdmbbq240silviadriftking.

The other day I went through the drive through at Arby's, (which I just recently realized, is pretty effin' good). Anyways, the dude in the window comes over to hand me my food, and here's how the converstion goes.

Arby's guy: "Whoa, that thing's big!!!"
Me: "That's what she said..... What are you talking about"???
Arby's guy: "That pink thing"... (Pointing at my pink bubble shift knob... Ghey, I know).
Me: lol... "Ok".
Arby's guy: "What's it for".
Me: "It's my shifter."
Arby's guy: "Ahh, cool... It reminds me of a bubbler"
Me: "What the hell is a bubbler". (I just Googled "bubbler", and I now know that it's for weed.)
...AWKWARD SILENCE... (Which indicates: He just realized that I am uncool, because I don't do drugs).
Arby's guy: Looking hard at my car. ".....This thing looks sick with those white wheels... What is it, a G20???"

(I'm sort of confused at this point... There's no one behind me, so I figured I'd just chat a little bit with this guy...)

Arby's guy: "......Oh a 240sx?? Nissan... Yea, I raced one of these in my Altima."
Me: Sort of blank stare.. Showing a little disgust/dissapointment.

Me: "No man. I don't street race."

So I drive around, and through the parking lot, and guess what I see... A freaking G20 with rims. It had to be his car. I just don't understand how he confused my coupe with a 4 door Infinity, THAT HE OWNS!!!!! Plus, he doesn't know what a shifter is!!!

Mainly because v-tec. The main gurdle bearing cannot support the overwhelming stress of a turbo. When v-tec is activated there is so much torsional flex in the crank that a turbo would cause the wobblin shaft to waddle and wear the bearings out of spec in a hurry.

Not.even.kidding.... My friend has a riced out 94 probe SE, and I was just cruising around town, and he started following. Well, about 10 minutes into just putting around I turned into the Wal-Mart parking lot. He did too.

Then as we're just chilling and talking away, you hear some dude talking to his friend saying "Daaaaamn!! Those are some kick-ass Probes!"

I very promptly ended the conversation, spun the ass and around, and drove by the kid saying "Yeah... it's a freakin RWD Probe.......moron..."

So the other night I pull into the gas station to get some gas (obviously). All the sudden this really awful looking Dodge Stratus(?) came flying in, wheels screeching and everything. This is where the story begins!

Dodge: DUDE! were you just driving on 82? (it is a back road near the PA/DE boarder, and is a fun little cruise)

Me: Uh, Yeah I guess so man, it is a fun road! Were you back there?

Dodge: Hell yeah man, I was trying to catch up to you and race you man!

Me: Ah, that is cool man, I do not like to race people I do not know though on those roads man. I do not want anyone getting hurt, and it is a little to early (it was like 7pm) to be racing! Try and stay safe man.

Dodge: Dude, I heard that turbo spooling, that thing has to be huge! How much power are you making?!?!? You were flying back there!

Me: It is a stock KA, all it has done is I/H/E and some head work, nothing spectacular, but my suspension is completely sorted.

Dodge: Whatever man, then came this is beautiful statement "you jus be frotin cuz my chic is tryna ride wit you, dog uza bitch, fag, ima follow you home and beat yo ass bitch."

Me: Um, that was uncalled for? Your girl is a beast buddy, not my fault. Follow me home and I will make sure my buddies are there, and the police! go back to Newark and have fun man getting pulled up by the police man!

So he does not follow me, and I am not going to lie, I was a bit worried, you never know what townies are carrying on them. This guy was a character too, was missing plenty of teeth and looked a bit strung out.

One hour later, in Newark, I see the car pulled over with 4 police. He was handcuffed and so was his beast.

Funny story, I use to have a Probe GT back in high school. I shit you not, people would ask if it was a 240 or a RX-7 all the time. So I told them No, it is a Honda. I have to admit though, it was a fun car!

Haha, I was 16, it was my first car I bought. I was happy, and I have a good friend who races the hell out of them.
Here is a video of him whopping ass in the probenstein, watch what happens at 0.24-0.30. Around 8.15-8.30 is a good clip as well, really winding out that poor KL motor. The rest of the video is interesting if you like watching racing. He is a great driver, and currently pilots the Fortune Auto Evo (street class I believe).

As for the fiesta, I know of one that will dip into a low 10 second 1/4 mile, and because of that they terrify me. All it took was literally a $600 dollar Ebay turbo kit, a boost controller, and a ford focus 2.2 ecotec(I think...?). Speed is speed... styling on the other hand... well...
