camcorder software
I need some decent video software for my digital camcorder. its a sony hc-80 or something like that. basically I need something that can capture USB stream and record it to a windows media or mpeg format. and then I need an editor than cut cut out clips, paste clips in (like for a collage film), and add text, and fades and shit, nothing real major. looking for freeware or some cheap shareware. thanks people. I've tried tucows and cnet but not luck and the stuff that came with my camcorder sucks ass.

windows movie maker is a free one, it aint great, but it gets the job done. it does all the things you need it to do.
