s14 sr fuel problem
i got my FPR at 3.5 bar and when i take off in first and hit the gas and go over 3000 rpm bough down but then it works fine, if i got to second gear it runs fine + if i put the volume up on my sound system you can see the FP gauge jump from 3.5 to 3.0. 1) Your fuel pressure for a stock SR should be exactly 3 bar with the vacuum line pulled off. ...with the vacuum line on, it should be roughly around 34-35-36 psi. So why is your base fuel pressure so high?...is this an OEM FPR? If so, then it needs to be replaced. 2) It should be VERY clear to you that if you turn you radio on and the fuel pressure goes down, that there is an electrical issue. More likely than not, the wiring to the fuel pump needs to be redone and placed on a circuit that is not effected by the stereo system.
