Yes. 90% of the SR has been parted out. I only have a few things left.

Good things come to those who wait We just dropped the motor in to see if it clears the hood, and it does! I have about an inch of clearance

Yeah Crick is a good friend of mine and I bought this off of him so he could do his LS2 swap. This is the same 5.0 from his car.

I won't count this as an updates since there was very minimal done since the last update. What we have here is the complete engine (excluding intake) dropped in the car in the position it will be in when done. It's kicked a little towards the passenger side due to us test fitting headers on the driver side. As you can see there was a lot of cutting involved which will be covered by a sheet metal tranny tunnel. The oil pan is notched and is ready to get built!

Update #21:
This is where the car stands as of today (1/7/14) Well it has been a long road and waiting show for sure! My fabricator has finally cleared a schedule to get the subie back in the shop and functionally finish her! We are making our way from the front to the back of the car. We started off modding the crossmember by gusseting the engine mounts and doing minor modifications for the FWD rack (PS lines hit a little bit). Once that was conquered; We welded the R180 being as which it was already out of the car, and I wanted to get it back in so I could assemble the rear end. Now we are on the final stage of new FLCA's which push the ball joint 1" forward and 1" out; Not to mention the new arms only weigh 1lb more than the aluminum sti arms. We will also be building lateral links and trailing arms in the near future! Enjoy!!! Welded Differential: Steering rack/Crossmember in place: FLCA :

Just installed the one arm we built to see how much room we had. The test wheel is a 17x9 +15 with a 235/40 <<(I think). We were very pleased with the outcome. With a lower offset and maybe a spacer we will surely acquire some good angle. As of right now the tire hits the frame, but that is at FULL lock.

Update #22:
This is where the car stands as of today (3/27/14) What's up everyone? Well currently my car is pushed out of the shop so my fabricator could make some quick cash building some cages. In the meantime while I'm waiting I've decided to share my finished mount kit and my finished FLCA's. These FLCA's are available for purchase ($700 raw metal or $800 with powder coat of your choice) They push the ball joint 1" out and 1"forward in comparison with the STi Aluminum Arms. They also only weigh 1-2lbs heavier than the aluminum arms. The FLCA we built uses a 95 (GC) style ball joint that you can purchase virtually anywhere. I decided to use Moog's. The FLCA them selves are made of cold rolled 1018 steel. If you're interested in purchasing please PM me here or email us at [email protected]

Update #21:
This is where the car stands as of today (1/18/15) Did you guys forget about me yet? I'm sorry for the lack of updates. My fabricator had tons of projects that took precedence over my build, and now that he earned his Pro2 Formula D license he is trying to get my car done before he has to start building his new comp car. We have done a lot in these past 2 weeks. I hope this update brings my subscribers back. PLEASE FORGIVE ME FOR THE PHOTO QUALITY. I SOLD MY DSLR SO NOW I'M USING MY IPHONE 5S. When I sold my SR swap kit the buyer was also interested in the custom arms we made that you can see in the previous update. We made some new arms that are a bit different and will allow for more clearance: This past weekend the goal was to do all the plumbing for the new pedal setup, handbrake, power steering and clutch. I went to a local guy who is highly reputable in my area and he had all my lines done in the matter of a couple hours: Saturday we installed the new Fidanza Flywheel and Exedy Stage 2 clutch, bolted up the T5 Trans, installed mounts, and dropped the motor in its new home (permanently): Yesterday we started/finished the exhaust. Surprisingly there was no needed fabrication done to the JBA Firecones which made things super simple. I don't have the picture of the finished exhaust but here are some parts tac'd in the car.

Yeah man when we did the 1st start up with the SR there was a perfect dent in the center of the oil pan which blocked the pick up tube and the starvation caused tons of scoring in the head and I didn't want to pay for a rebuild.

Update #24:
This is where the car stands as of today (1/24/15) As promised...more updates!! This week/weekend we happened to button up the rear end with some ebay links (highly recommended by Logan of Drift Union). The entire rear is done and torqued to spec, the only finishing touch was to add the ARP extended studs. Rather than taking the time to drill out the ABS sensor hole I milled down the ARP stud just small enough to fit through the sensor hole. We also managed to build an appropriate fitting aluminum fan shroud for my 16" Spal. The ovals on the template signify where the bead-roll would be to give the shroud some characteristics. The fitment in the car was simply perfect! Lastly we drilled the appropriate hole in the knuckles to add that much more steering angle and assembled the front end so we can finally start making the bump-steer kit. Looks good right?
