Yo whats up man. Choking is the worst but it teaches you something new every time you do it. Next round, hopefully we can get back into the top 8 and bring nerves of steel. BTW, you're pretty high in the points series now with the top 8 finish. I calculated it out and you are either 8th or 9th depending on what Stan placed. Joon is out and Josh supposedly got 16th from what he said so he's up in there as well.

Henry 180 + 95 = 285
John 177 + 90 = 268
Chris 178+ 74 = 252
Aaron 132 + 86 = 218
Forrest 100 + 82 = 182
Jeff 96 + 78 = 174
Joon 156 NO LONGER DRIVING
Mickey 86 + 66 = 152
Jason 66 + 70 = 136
Stan ???
Josh ???
Yasu 100

John Russakoff scored points in FD this year so I'm not even sure if he's going to fill one of the spots at nationals seeing how he will retain his FD license. Joon quit the series and he will retain his FD license as well. That leaves 10 dudes on that list and 8 for sure available spots at nationals. Last year they let a few extra qualified JD drivers in there to fill the empty spots from the other regions so things are looking good for us.

Aaron, you're most likely going to drop to around 8th or 9th after the next one so you're going to HAVE to make top 8 at the final round. Shouldn't be a problem for you at HTM. I just hope we don't have to pair up against each other again unless it's in the finals or a 3rd place battle.

I'm pretty sure nationals is november 9th - 11th.

Last year friday was a practice day, saturday was a proam qualifier where top 4 got FD licenses. Saturday night was a proam party. Then on sunday it was "0 point pros" vs. "top 20 qualifying proam dudes" from saturday to compete for the remaining licenses.

I hope they have prizes other than FD licenses this year, maybe some tires or a sponsorship or something like that. That would make the trip worth it for all the people not planning on doing FD.
