Silvia front end with FMIC
I know this is a stupid question, I know people have asked it, bear with me.
I recently got a Silvia front end conversion for my 240sx, and the way my intercooler is setup interferes with my bumper. I'd like others opinions and pictures on their Silvia fronts with front mounts. I've thought of relocating my intercooler, but most places I can put it my piping won't work for that. I REALLY don't wanna cut the bumper up as it is in near perfect condition. Here's pics of my issue: The intercooler and pipes hit the bumper along the bumper mouth. I've thought of the PBM HMIC, but that requires trimming the radiator support. I'd still be more open to that than cutting the bumper. |

That's a new idea. Would I need to run an electric fan for the radiator? I'm pleased with how my clutch fan cools and have had bad experience with electric fans, even the high end ones. But obviously a v-mount will require me to delete the clutch fan and shroud. |

I'd have no problem cutting the bumper if it wasn't so great condition. I feel like I'm doing something wrong cutting into something so nice lol. |
