S14s never came with 4 piston calipers. You probably have Z32 calipers but without any pictures or valid information we are unable to spoon feed you the information you require.

A total of 30 secs on google i came up with this:

The first picture are the s14 4 pot calipers i talk about ! My question is do all those 4 pot calipers use 280mm 30mm thickness rotors or are there 4 pot calipers (maybe from earlier s14 models or even late s13 ones) that use thinner 22 mm rotors ?

They should all be 30mm rotors which are the SAME rotors as the 300zx/Z32. Use a ruler to measure the caliper if you want to be sure.

Those are z32 or r-chassis calipers, not s14

Incorrect

Some JDM S14s came with 4 pot calipers

To answer the original question:

I am not entirely sure, but I have a feeling there is only one set of calipers and piston sizes as compared to the 300ZX. I do not think anyone has confirmed since not many come through the hands of people in the US.

Thanks I think i get it now !
All 4 pots calipers either on a s14 or a s15 are to be used with 280mm diameter and 30 mm thickness rotors.

The 4 pot z32 calipers are different as far as the piston outside circles go (they are not as defined as the iron s14 and s15 are and they have the sumitomo engraving in the front)-And the early z32 calipers accept 26mm thickness rotors but later models use the thicker 30 mm ones.
That was the reason i was totally buffled what caliper to use with what rotor and how to choose as they all look so similar to someone that does not know those little differences.

As i said in the other post i wanted a cheaper altenative to the oem r33 gtr brembo's and to the initially cool but still too expensive Evo brembo install.

I can find the iron s14 4 pot calipers really cheap and the same goes for a brand new set of 280mm diameter and 30 mm thickness rotors. The z32 ones go for almost twice as much because they are aluminium so s14 /s15 iron ones are the best cost effective upgrade...

They make 30mm Z32/300zx Alum calipers. I know I have a set in my garage.

Straight off importnut website.

The iron calipers only came 30mm so you just need to get z32/r32 30mmx280mm rotors. Silvia K's S14 came with 4 pot iron calipers.

My favorite caliper is the S15 silvia iron 30mm -

because they usually come so clean and fresh

shout outs, because there is nothing easier than bolting a pair on without having to take it apart to clean/rebuild first.

Z32 rotors are 280mm, yes. If you look at the pads when Z32/Skyline GT 4-pots are installed you'll see some of the pad is not contacting the rotor. A workaround is to use the Infiniti Q45 front rotors from late models (1997-2001). They are 296mm which is the same diameter as the Skyline GTS25t. More pad contact = more better braking
