question about id1000's on a ka-t

I'm planning on running id1000's on my ka-t. Just wondering how you guys that may have more experience insure you have no vaccume or boost leaks where they go into the manifold. Seing how its a huge o-ring type and the id1000's are not....figured if anything weld em up like the super street built ka-t was. But just wanted to see if there was a better option prior

I still have to grab the part number. The Inner hole the injector fits directly into and the side tabs dont allow it to push through, the outer ring is just smaller than the rubber grommet on the IM allowing the force to evenly push down on it.



this is on a SR but but ka uses the same grommet

You should be able to use the stock lower injector insulator and remove the oring that the ID's come with. ID's also come with a Denso style lower cushion unless you ordered them with the oring bottom.

Looked it up myself lol as I should have in the first place...ay we all mess up...buy yes I have that style I was was just concerned about how much smaller it is and if it could leak under higher boost
