Lifted Cars
1986 CADILLAC LIFTED 4X4 MONSTER TRUCK PRE RUNNER DUNEBUGGY [email protected]@K
I saw this thing on craigslist while looking up for lifted trucks (i wouldnt mind a older lifted toyota or something in the future).. Whats your guys opinions on lifted cars? I know they are basically car shells on truck frames.. I know they typically look redneck lol.. maybe one could be cool lol

IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT.... It's kinda like giant RC car type of thing. Seems like these people just throw different bodies on offroad chassis. If that's not what's going on then i have no idea why the fuck...

Those older Cadillac are on the SAME frame as similarly-sized GM vehicles with other names... Caddy didn't branch off to their own shit until they changed to FWD/Northstar in the 90s. Some forward (or, as it were, ass backwards) - thinking individual noticed "holy shit, this stuff to lift -- or even regularly suspend -- a truck fits under this car, and that raises it enough for me to fit 24" wheels... Later, this would become 26", 28" and recently 30" wheels. Regular truck shit gets you high enough for fours or MAYBE sixes, but for 8s or 30s, the real lift must take place. Yes, I have one friend on 22s on a 73 impala, one with 24s on a 76, 2 with 24s on 79s, and FOUR with 26s on 80s-model box Caprices, and I DO NOT hang out with them when cars are involved, as I hate that "scene," but that fact does not block me from knowing WHY I hate it.

Hmm, I'm not a huge fan, we get the odd lifted rusted mustang here in the great white north and they're far from cool.

As a resident of the bro capital of the world (951-909 area) I fucking hate vehicles that are lifted. Nothing pisses me off more than a douche bag bro in his gay truck tail gating you at night and flashing his high beams and trying to start races againts cars that will clearly rape the shit out of the truck. Ironically these trucks are ment to be taken off road yet they NEVER have a spec of dirt on them. These guys are some of the biggest tools around, they "DGAF" because they believe that makes them individuals yet they all look the same and like the same trashy style of trucks. I once drove by the lake elsinore grand prix and everyone had a lifted truck and wore the same cloths, its like a fucking cult. That Cadillac might as well come with a free dirt bike, a bro uniform, and a myspace headline that reads "lifted trucks and dirty sluts" because one of the most disgusting things I have ever seen. [end rant/]
