^ bahaha. I'm going to head out to a quick diy car wash spot and clean up my car a bit. About 7:15 heading out to arcadia. Then at 8:00 we're leaving arcadia to go to the meet/event.

"You know how Jesus walks on water, well I walked on jesus! "
- Azndoc Had a great time at this event. Looking forward to another one, just hope it's closer. Sucks that I didn't win anything from the raffle though.

He did pretty good times. There was a total of 3 FF's that were cone dodging; a new Civic Si, your buddy's EG, and my xB. I think the Si owned us, and your buddy and I had about the same times.

The autocross totally made the event worth it! Get bored at the meet? Go autocross for a while! Get bored at the autocross? Go walk around the meet for a while! I was doing that all day. The course was way too short to really have any sort of competition, but I am pretty happy with the event as a whole. Me and a couple other guys were trading fast times all day long, I think I ended up 3rd. I'm really happy that my best time of the morning, which was the top time at that point, was faster than cobb tuning's r-35 GTR's time! In the afternoon the course got faster as the cones kept getting moved out a little at a time so the morning and afternoon times were not really comparable.

^ dude your car sounds so freakin' sick with that BC 2 Exhaust. I was the guy in the black s13 coupe w/ silvia front end. first time ever autocrossing was able to run a 17.4 before the course got crazy fast towards the end and then ran a 16.9.
if you ever want to chill we have meets every wednesday night out in the valley. about 5 min. or so from reseda. Check the regional section for more info.

You're talking about the meet at the starbucks at saticoy and louise right? I was there 2 weeks ago. I have a wife and kid so I can't really get out all the time, but I will for sure stop by there again. My best time of the morning/early afternoon (before the track got crazy fast) was 16.7 (which was the fastest time at that point), in the afternoon I ran a 16.2. The guy with the white z-32 was the fastest the last time I checked with a 15.9, then the silver lowered track edition z-33 with a 16.1, and then me with a 16.2. The guy with the white evo that showed up at the end of the day and wrecked like a million cones in 2 mins might be up there with us, but I didn't check. It's funny though, I didn't even give a shit about my times untill one of the workers that owns a 240 came up to me and told me that I had the fast time! After that it was on!

Just thought I'd share the pics I got of some of the really cool cars at the meet. By the way, anyone else win anything in the raffle? I bought 5 tickets and ended up winning a set of hankook tires AND a set of wheels from five:ad. Unfortuanetly though I can't find anything in their catalog that I can use so you'll probably see me selling off a set of brand new wheels for cheap pretty soon! Oh well I guess I'll just have to try to talk hankook into giving me some of their DOT r-compound tires or the r-s2's. Anyways enough with the bullshitting, here's the pics! The images grouped together are of the same car.

Nah man the stagea is what really gave me a HUUUUGGGGGEEEEEE boner! An AWD, RB26 powered, station wagon is what I want (since I have a family and all). The intake on the white R-34 was pretty bonerific as well! Where the hell is everyone else that went to the meet? I know there were a LOT of zilvia guys there and they're all hiding from this thread! Post up more pics and stories dammit!

The stagea was sweet as hell, but euro wagons catch my style more than the japanese ones. The carbon kevlar shit was just too sick for words. I wish we'd get stuff like that for our cars, but I bet the pricing for that shit is as much as a set of decent wheels.
Blah... i should have taken pix. I know Sup3rsak took some nice shots. Hopefully he gets those up soon for all of us too see. Wondering if he got a some decent shots of me

Ya dude the intake on the r-34 was somewhere around $1000! If I had a 34 I would still want one though. I wish I had some shots of my car on the autocross course as well, but I figured I would fill up my camera with pics of cars that I don't see everyday.

Lol, I just sold a M's intake for GTR34 on Freshalloy....
They are made by K&N Japan. The retail on the regular carbon one is about $1500.

This event was great, especailly because it was free... a lot of sponsers too. And got to see the new GT-R for the first time...
Hey koukikat180sx you should let those guys over Performance Nissan know that they should promote this kind of event much sooner to get a bigger turn out. That way next time this event can be much bigger, and everyone will look forward to go and be in magazines as well. Will post pic's when I have some time to download them.

^^^Exactly! There was a thread in the regional section, but most of us don't spend a lot of time there. If you post it in the chat or motorsports forum then it will pop-up on our screens when we log-on with the other new threads/posts.

Yeah, if I had known that non-Nissan cars were allowed to cone dodge, I would have brought a set of rims AND matching tires. That way I would have probably been .5 sec faster rather than .5 sec slower than the GT-R35, HA HA! :-P |

Road course layout had a dip in it. .. .FAIL. the drift exibition took to long. .. .FAIL. the event was bare, considering its representation, as well as ALL the individuals that claim 951/909 etc. .. .FAIL. HKS in san Bern, FAIL. .. .The Festival of Speed got to CALIWAY B4 they could register for rent out! Sux.
Shame the parking lot was so bare.
