What firewall software do you use? [Fall 09]
What firewall software are you guys using? (Windows only)
I'm currently using ESET as it's not bloated nor a resource hog. Also, unlike Windows Firewall, I can control outbound connections.

i dont use a software firewall. I have a Linksys WRT54G router with custom firmware (HyperWRT+Thibor)that handles anything i could ever want.
Any specific reason you want a soft FW? |

I'm assuming you guys are using the Linux based WRT54G? Do you block off all the ports and only allow certain apps to have inbound and outbound connections?
My current WRT54G is not compatible with most 3rd party firmware (I have v5 model).

Thanks, I was able to successfully upgrade the firmware. Any suggestions on what I should try out?
