SR20 ECU Question

Hey all

Quick question...

I have searched and was unable to yield any straight answer, but will the SR20 ECU from a Sentra work on the S13? The ECU would have Nistune and be turbo tuned.

Just curious if this is a thing.

Actually, early s13 sr20 ecu plugs is the same as the early sr20 sentra. I have had a friend start his sr20det sentra off of my redtop ecu before. Not sure if he had to change any settings or pinout though, etc.

No, mainly because the Sentra is a DE motor with a distributor for ignition and the DET motor is direct (coil-on-plug) ignition driven from the ECU. Could probably make it work, but you'd have to sort out some kind of external ignition module.

The connector is probably the same, just the pins wouldn't match up.

this is the big concern here is single coil and coil on plug and sorting that out

but as for the pins. they should all be in the same spots between the 2 ecus (atleast the important ones)
