Stupid idiot noob KA questions
I think im getting some detonation under a load at an rmp that is under 2500, once it reaches above that i hear nothing foul coming from the motor. I also would like to know if i should run BKR6EIX-11 plugs i got from a friend that are brand new, and if so should i run a different gap other than oem due to the 248/248 cam swap.

Perhaps post a video/soundclip? Might help people ID the issue...
I had a similar issue once, and it ended up being some of my MAF wires that had broken without me noticing. A few quick solders later, and I was golden. Sometime's the silliest things cause the biggest problems.

I rewired the maf already and it has been doing the same things before and after. It sounds like some pinging going on. Going up a slight hill at a normal 2000 2500 it will sound like a valve tap but not as uniform. Somewhat random
