SR20DE S15 coolant flow direction for heater valve?

I have an SR20DE S15 I'm swapping into a Datsun Roadster and I'm not sure I'm reading the FSM correctly on coolant flow. I think the hot out of the engine is the tube closest to the block (the larger 90 deg 3/4" hose) but I wanted to be sure. I need to put the heater valve in and I want to be sure on the coolant flow out of the engine. Can anybody confirm which of the two lines coming out of the block/thermostat housing is the hot out?
Thanks!
PS, love to attach a pic but site won't let me (I am approved and file is only 222kb).

Bump as I still don't have an answer on this. Anybody know which direction the coolant flow coming out of the block goes?

you talking about running into the heater core inside the car?
If I remember right, it doesn't matter. On my datsun swap at least

Yes I am talking about the heater core. However, the valve that goes with my my aftermarket (Vintage Air) Evaporator/heater core has a direction to it for flow. So I want to mount the valve in the correct direction. I don't like only having a 50-50 chance of getting it right as it's kind of a pain to mount in my roadster (very little room) and I'd like not to have to go back in the future and take the intake all apart just to get down and reverse the valve so I can have heat.

Thanks. But this is the FSM that I have, and its not clear to me how this matches my thermostat/block housing. See the picture of my setup here:
https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid...88586861345626

My problem is the FSM shows the line closest to the block as going into the thermostat. But you can see on the facebook page that the line closest to the block is not going into the thermostat. This FSM picture just isn't clear to me.

You want the line coming off the head. It feeds the heater core then goes back around to the thermostat housing. Under the intake manifold, it's the hard pipe with a small one coming off of it, looks kinda like a Y.

The smaller hose off Y part goes to the thermostat housing also, so it can be a bit confusing if you're not following that coolant circuit diagram closely.
