fuel injector caps help

New to the site for recommendations from a few others to come check it out.Ok me and a bud were working on my car I was removeing the injectors to put new o rings in them and I had the caps in order as I took them off, but my bud knocked them over. I didn't think anything of it since they all look the same, but I put them on and car ran like shit and then I moved around again and it sounded better but it still feels off, under the caps it says 4,4,6,8 anyone know the correct order they go in. Much appreciation

The caps should not influence the running.
Youd better check all areas you dismounted, vacuum tubes, connectors and other hardware.
Also check if remaining old cap bits are blocking the injection.
The injectors may need a cleaning to flow well.

You might have fouled your new o-rings. You have got to be careful re-installing your injectors with new o-rings, lube 'em up and take your time. Pull each one out and check them out.
