Guys my selector for my climate control is not working. When I put my stereo in I noticed 2 wires were spliced into the radio harness. One is purple and the other is gray. They look like they are coming from a plug near the firewall. Any idea why these would be spliced in?

Apparently a lot of other people don't have a clue either.

I got my selector to work my a/c fuse was pulled, that was the problem. I figured out the wires are going to an alarm thats behind all the radio stuff. Its not hooked up anymore so the wires don't need power they are just chilling.
