Does anyone know where i can get some of those door sill rivets that will actually work and unexpand when i unscrew them?

Auto parts stores, like autozone, generally have generics, and those meant for different makes/models.

Even if they don't have the actual right ones, I'm sure you can find something that will fit. You can also buy actual nylon pop rivets.
