ok guys, ive seen a number of other threads where people discuss this issue but they never talk about a remedy...
Ive got a 92 Vert. Ive modified interior switch for sleepy eye mod (cut brown wire) and its been like that for 2 years so i doubt its anything related to that. I swapped that switch into another vert with and it worked fine. i bought a brand new relay from nissan and nothing. If i manually crank them down to sleepy eye position, used to if i turn headlights on from sleepy position the headlights would go down then back up, now they just go up. Cant get them to go down unless i do it manually. HELP!

check the fender harness for wear or rub marks. this happened to me and the wiring harness kissed my tire and melted

harness is tucked way out of the way
