BAD Wheel hop on z33 when cornering.....

The car is an 03 350z w/ a little over 40k on it. And i cant seem to figure out why the whole car will shake ( seems to be coming from the front end) under hard cornering (w/o brakeing, tcs off). the car seems to shake the most at the point where thare is mild understeer under hard cornering.(soo bad, it makes the windows rattle) the car has tien lowering springs, but other than that the suspension is stock.

not only is there wheel hop in the front end while cornering, there is wheel hop in the rear end, which can be felt every time you spin the tires.

-i have visited 3 shops includeing the dealership
(all inspected and say car looks fine)
-Replaced front and rear shocks and struts
-replaced lower control arms and lca bushings
-replaced front and rear tires
-car was aligned
-no history of any accidents
-stock wheels

any advice?
thanks

aftermarket springs and oem shocks are usually a bad combination

true, i didnt mention it in the post, but when i replaced the shocks, i went with some afermarket Tokico's. they have a slightly stiffer compression, and much stiffer rebound. but didnt seem to do anything for the problem.

Is it possible one shock is not doing anything?

Bounce it and see if one corner has zero damping.

Many shocks sit on a shelf of some parts guy plays them and accidently cycles them upside down which can cause air rather than fluid to occupy the areas where the valving is.

Every shock I have ever replaced gets cycled right side up full travel multiple times until I don't hear any gurgling.

You wouldn't believe me how many shocks don't do squat until I do this and many cars don't have enough suspension travel to purge the shocks once on the car.

That doesn't mean take them off but it does bear checking it out by bouncing it by hand........carefull so whoever helping you doesn't dent body work.

Thats a good idea, but the car had the same problem with the stock shocks, so i dont think its the shocks.

Re-torque everything you replaced/removed at one time or the other, this includes all pieces associated with aligning the car since the dealer did that.

Is it an open diff or vlsd?

Look at the differential bushings to make sure they are cool.

vlsd, will check the diff bushings, but that would only account for the rear wheelhop(which it only does in a straight line, not while drifting), i still have the front to deal with.

Don't mean to be a downer, but I think that you brought out the worst of the z33 chassis characteristics. I've always noticed when watching the z33 on Hot Version touge battles that the car had a hard time handling it's weight and bounced around alot in the corners. Check out these videos to see what I'm talking about:

YouTube - Touge Battle 350z Vs. Sti

YouTube - Touge Battle - J's Racing S2000 vs. Yashio Factory Z33

Very interesting videos, but neither 350 is doing the wheel hop that i described.

I am pretty sure it is a result of my tein springs. although i do have aftermarket struts, the spring rate doesn't match the dampening so the springs are just too stiff. its my own fault for not buying aftermarket coilovers.lol

I got a 1990 240sx completely STOCK and the rear right wheel hops everyime I turn right and gas half way, i t hops like a fucker... i cant seem to figure out whats wrong. I looked at the suspension but everything is tightened and solid. Only does it when turning right or if I go over a big bump the car keeps shaking after the bump. Any ideas? i seen very similar threads but no one has found the answer to the mysterious wheel hop.
