SR Cam Bolts Stripped Threads
Long story short:

Motor - S14 SR20det (kouki version)
Situation - Stripped holes for Cam Carrier bolts. Fixed by tapping threads for appropriate-sized helicoil.

Question- Will the helicoil interfere with hole the cam bearing/cap get oil?

Maybe you ran remove the tang at the bottom of the helicoil after installing it?
