I'm looking into the Whiteline adj. swaybars for my S13. I figure I'll just get a rear one b/c I like a loose car better than a tight one. Are they a good choice? And is it wise to just get the rear?

I would recommend the whiteline bars although just getting the rear will caust for to much understeer and cause the front to spin more easily. Save some $ and get the front too then play with the adjustment to get the perfect level of oversteer or understeer that you like.

You've been awake too long Mark...j/k:cheesy:. No, I'm sure a thicker rear bar will cause oversteer, not understeer...the rear wheels should brake loose first. My question is will it be too much oversteer?

pretty damb sure it will make the front lose traction first, and yes I am always up to late

Well...I'm gonna stand my ground on this one. I'm an ex-Honda owner (cars known to push b/c of their FWD configuration), which gives me a pretty good background on neutralizing a tight car. For example, a 'Teg GS-R has an 18mm rear bar, but the ITR has a 22mm rear bar to take care of the understeering problem. Check these out if you still don't believe me.
http://www.240sx.org/faq/articles/suspension_anti.htm http://www.turnfast.com/tech_handling/handling_tuningtable.lasso I know it will alleviate the 240's tightness, but will it make it oversteer uncontrollably/unpredictably? Ok...can someone tell me what the stock sway bar diameters are? Are they hollow or solid? If they're solid and I know how much I'll be increasing the bar diameter, I can get an at least a vague idea of what the car will do with which bar where.
