Alternator Adjuster Broke - Zilvia.net Forums | Nissan 240SX (Silvia) and Z (Fairlady) Car Forum

Hey I was trying to tighten my alternator belt and there wasn't a torque spec in the FSM and I over did it and broke of the lock nut for the adjuster.
Does anyone happen to know the SKU number for this assembly from past experiences or has a extra one laying around they would like to make some money off of that would be awesome,

the spec is about quarter inch of belt deflection. i am highly suspicious that you did not loosen locking nut or pivot bolt when tightening. i know a guy who has at least 4 of these four sale on net if you cant find one.

Same problem here, however since the KA alternator bolts up with slight modding, will the adjuster bolt work to ?

I rather buy a new one.
