$1200 will buy a 100% complete 150cc GY6 swap which is good for like 55-60mph.
I like my stock Honda 49cc though, because unlike Chinese engines, my shit doesn't break down. Chanito's big-bore is nice though.

Good point, and I'm sure my tune will change once I have one in my posession. I've got two trucks and a full size bike as backup. I could see myself doing a motor swap.

What year is the camo? 07? I wanna do flat black. If I wouldn't get arrested I'd put some kinda gun turret on the back!
Can two people ride on this thing?

people mount some little schwinn bike seat onto the back bar of the seat frame to fit a second person on there. what's the point of riding on two wheels if you can't haul bitches son! CHURCH no but seriously they take the bike mount off the bottom of this seat and add some mounts like what the stock ruckus seat has so it can fold up when not in use http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...ci_sku=9207800

People do it, but it's seriously iffy. For really short distances it's probably okay though. The Camo 07 had a special designation of "NPS50S", rather than the normal "NPS50" for all other rucks. Custom paint job ftw, I'm working on piecing together extra factory pieces (bat box, lower frame, already have aftermarket seat rail) to have a 2nd set of gear in another color I can swap on. I didn't want to paint over my shiny new 08 silver stuff.

Don't look past the dangers of these. Although I wouldn't mind having one to save a bank load of money scooters are not a safe mode of transportation.
My father was killed on a scooter last August. Things to keep in mind, 1.These things are quiet- you don't have Harley type exhaust coming off these things to let others know where you are. 2.These things are small- It is very easy for other drivers to not see you 3.These things don't handle very well- Hard to get yourself out of a tight spot 4.These things are not quick- also hard for you to get yourself out of a tight spot 5. Not very protective- just like motorcycles if you get hit your in for some pain. I'm not saying don't get one i'm just saying if you do you need to be very careful. |

That's what's always scared me about a bike. Sorry to hear about your father. And thanks for the warning.

one more reason to buy one.
http://thekneeslider.com/archives/20...lying-scooter/ it shows a yamaha scoot in the picture, but i think it still applies. it also says not to drive around with this kit attached, but honestly, who on here would listen to advice like that? ESPECIALLY SINCE YOU CAN FLY. http://www.aerocorsair.com/id67.htm |

I ride mine ~20 miles to work on back roads that mostly stay 4 lanes wide but there are a few sections that go 2 lane for a while.
I just stay to the side and people pass me a few times and it isnt that bad even when it is big dump trucks by the constuction. I got 3 waves on the way to work this morning from actual motorcycles. |

To make yourself more visible while driving would it be a good idea to put some LED's on the bike somewhere? Or is that illegal like Neons?

Probably depends on state law, there is a device for normal bikes which makes your headlight flash so that oncoming traffic can see you during the day. They are illegal here in OK, but legal in AZ. blue LEDs of any kind ont he outside of a vehicle are illegal here as well. Reason being (It can be confused for an emergency vehicle.. that would be too bad now wouldnt it)

I know in VA, basically the same laws that govern a bicycle.
I plan on getting a good LED setup going on my moped, and I have a 55w bulb in my front headlight, for extra brightness. and it'll have basically as close to a straight pipe as I can run with it still running right. 4 stroke ftw.

Can you imagine how ridiculous you would look pulled over by a cop for something illegal on your moped?
Hahahah. I found this quote from a review online: 'Still, with its exposed frame rails and huge dual headlights that seem set for Paris-Dakar with tires to match, this is pretty much the only small scooter that guys can drive without looking like a total pussy. '

It is possible for 2 people to ride....but I wouldn't advise it unless its right up the street and its a slow street (like 30mph) |
