sr20det apexi head gasket help

hey guys?

one clarification in regards to the apexi head gasket part# 814-N106

on the box its says 87-1.1 but on the part its self it says 8811 , my only concern is our car has a stock redtop sr20det, will fit perfect ?

im talking about the bore

since the stock is 86 and i thought that it was 87 but acualy its 88

one more thing when aligning the stock head gasket to the apexi's i noticed some edges sticking out is that ok?! leakage?!

please refer to the attached pics.

Thanks Cheers

It will work just fine. I bought mine 2mm large as well. If you ever rebuild you will be able to use the same gasket rather than having to buy another for $200.

The tabs that hang out are fine. Apex is the best head gasket you can buy. Just put it on and torque the head down. G2G.

My setup..

http://zilvia.net/f/cars-sale/497955...t-500-whp.html

I've been running it for three years. 4 different turbo setups. Head has been off more than 5 times. Engine has been rebuilt, etc. Head gasket has stayed the same and never gave me a problem. I just torque my ARP's down once and it's good.

Best Head Gasket There is. Used Cometics that kept leaking then went Apexi and never had a problem. I recommend them to anyone.

Also for other zilvians you can use stock head bolts but just remember you CAN'T reuse them you have to get new ones everytime you pull the head because they stretch.

Five times I have torqued mine and I have never re-torqued afterwards.

Maybe if they are new you should re-torque them, but I never did.
