ka24 injector help!
yes ive searched and dont know what else to do... most threads is about the the #3 injector but my #1 cylinder keeps going dead. ive replaced the injector with a used one and it worked for about a week but it ended up not working again so i replaced it with a brand new injector and it still doesnt work. i know its not a spark problem because ive replaced the plug, wires, cap, and rotor, tested it and it has great spark but you can pull the injector plug and the idle doesnt change. unplug any of the others and the idle changes..... its a brand new injector, could it be the wiring or what?
also i havent checked the ohms on the plug yet. should do it tonight i hope. and the only other ecu i have is a rb25 so i cant test another one right now..... also havent checked for any codes yet. will do asap. any help would be awsome though! |

well if u pull the plug from the injector and the idle doesnt change that means its problem with the wiring or connector. Test the wires that are going to the injector make sure its getting a signal. If it is try getting some electrical parts cleaner and spray the connector to make sure its not just nasty and gunked up

Leaky Injector

On the injector connector, check with meter one wire should be switched 12 volts and the ground the computer triggers, check that corresponding ground to ecu make sure there is no short in between or bad ground, ground or voltage spikes can overheat injector coil or damage ecu
