Exclamation s13 sohc engine problem!

Driving down the road at 4500rpm, lost all power. Took it back to my shop I checked that it was getting spark and fuel oil was on the low side. It hardly fires and when it does it idles very rough, and if i give it any throttle at all it dies. I did hear i slight chattering sound coming from the engine today before it died. Gonna check the fuel pressure tomorrow. Any help would be much appreciated! I'm new to my 240 and saving for a redtop, ka24e gonna have to last me a bit longer.

HELP!

Might be a lifter not fully pumping up which is causing a misfire due to valve(s) not fully opening. Same thing kinda happened to me. It wasn't as severe as far as stalling but it did throw a code, ideled real rough and had a lot of chatter coming from the valve cover.i had low oil aswell. I put some more oil In it and drove it probably about 10 miles and it all went back to normal.hope its the same thing that happened with mine

Checking your fuel pressure and volume is definately a good idea.
