If you're not willing to pay more for a certain color you really want, then hey go with any car you can come up on. I'm not twisting your arm to believe what I'm saying. Oh and if you DO HAVE ANY RARE PARTS on your car(s), I'd buy it for a dollar because they're not collectibles or do they add anymore value to your car or the part itself.

Math fails you.
If Deep Fuschia was only offered in '97-'98, and I told you there are 105 total cars painted this color, and then I told you there are 24 cars for the '98 year. How many cars does that make for the '97 year? Hint: Subtraction. Answer: 81

Updated S15 info again. My VINDAT file was from 2001 so the numbers were a little off. I now have the 2009 VINDAT file.
Turns out #KH3 Super Black is quite rare for the S15, unlike the S13/S14 which had unlimited amount of this color, lol.

*EPIC DISCOVERY*
It turns out I've just discovered the rarest USDM 240sx color. The color is called Purple Gray Pearl (#LK0). It was only offered on 1991 models, came in both hatch and coupe. Only 47 total units exist!!! (31 fastbacks, 16 coupes) I can't even find a 240sx with this color so I had to dig up the 180sx picture you see above. This color was probably overlooked since it can easily look like Charcoal Metallic (and the fact that's its so fucking rare.) In Japan it was offered on the 180sx '91 to '93 year models. edit: Only image I could find of the color on a 240sx.

Kinda wanna paint my vert that color because its a nice mix between that Lavender Frost and my favorite S13 color of Charcoal Metallic. My vert is a AG2 and not in any way special. I wonder how hard it is to find LK0 to respray?

thank you for posting this information, it's pretty interesting. Could you possibly post a complete production list of each color/year? Or at least total number of cars produced for each year? I wouldn't mind a more accurate breakdown of S14s that came manual/per year/ color etc.
Something similar to this would be rad: FD3S:USDM Production Numbers |

But I did take a little time for you to record the production numbers for S14's (this is for all paint colors). 1995: 25,142 units produced. 1996: 7,355 units produced. 1997: 3,682 units produced. 1998: 2,792 units produced. For the S13 guys I have breakdown by body style: http://zilvia.net/f/chat/513402-s13-...own-model.html

Found LK0 by the gallon, contemplating buying a spray bottle of it to see how it looks in person. I have also found that it was a color option for the Micra yet it was still pretty rare.

So the amount of VIN numbers for S13 and S14 is around 250,000 total. Multiply that by 11 for worst case scenario and you will have to enter in 2,750,000 different instances in order to find all the unique VINs.
