wide body panels (rear) s14 install question.
Hi, just wanted to get some info on installing wide body panels on the the zenki before I decide to buy it. I was wondering if the origin wide body panels are a direct bolt on with little modification to fit on the s14. Are there any cutting the metal fender involved to make fit? I have 18 inch sportsmax rims.

Cutting is all up to you. Wide fenders are just an overlay to sit on top of the OE panel, but if you're looking for wheel clearance you'll have to cut sheetmetal in order to gain it, and if you want it to look right within the well you should trim it out, just as you would do any car. A 240SX isn't any different.

You have sportmaxs and want overfenders? Thats going to be failship status. Sorry but no sportmax rim needs overfenders period. Its going to look like garbage. But unless your getting better fitting rims you dont "need" to cut anything.

Thanks all for your info. I just want to know if the metal fender would require any cutting or do I just drill holes and bolt in and thats it. I am looking at origin's type 2 style wide body panel.
Option zero-couldn't I use spacers for the back? to push the rims out? and yes your right I don't know what the FUCK I am doing, thats why I am here getting info. |
