Just bought an s15 7-layer exhaust gasket but not sure which side goes were, is it the dark side that contacts block or is it the shiny side?

well you could just slap it on one way or the other and see if you have any problems. haha. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure it only goes on one way. If not than run the black side on the exhuast manifold.

What side of aluminum does the food go on?
I use the dull side, whether is has a non-stick coating or not!
