walbro 255 on mostly stock setup?

my fuel pump just went out, and i was wondering if i would have any problems upgrading to a walbro 255. i have a 96 240sx (ka engine) with a cai and a full exhaust system right now. i plan on upgrading/swaping here in a year or two so i would need to buy a bigger pump eventually.

would there be any issues running it, and if not, what is the best site to buy one at?

THe big thing to make sure of with the Walbro, is to ensure you're getting it from a legit vendor and *NOT* at the cheapest price. There was/still is an influx of chinese knockoff walbros, so just be aware of that. Those ones going for 75 shipped may seem like a good deal, but I'd stay away.

On a mostly stock setup you probably won't notice any significant difference in performance. Sure the stock FPR may not be able to handle it perfectly, but it's still going to work within 95-100%. THat small global change in fuel isn't going to to cause anything to fail or be wrong either.

I'd say run it. Much cheaper than an OEM pump!
