Getting S13 Door Panel to Fit?

Can anyone help me with getting the driver side door panel to fit? I cannot get the little plastic snap things to stay in. Everytime it seems like I snapped one in, I let a bit of pressure and it comes right back out! It has power windows and locks.
Does anyone have tricks to getting these back on?

the trick is you need new clips, if they no longer hold then they need to be replaced, you can take one of the old clips from the car to the auto parts store and match the right clips and buy them or you can be super anal and buy them from nissan

I've already tried new clips and still no dice. I used the Grey Nissan clips from AutoZone.

Then the holes in the door are worn out.

Buy a new used door.

Take one of those clips off of the panel and plug each hole in the door, see for sure if that is your problem, the holes are worn out.

I think that's the issue too. I'm going to double check it today... I can't imagine plastic clips wearing out metal holes.
