s13 Duraflex installation help

So first, i know what they say about ED's products and how they do not fit properly. I got this bumper for my 1990 240sx hatch without research. My mistake, defintly wont happen again. But this bumper, i dont know what to do for the install. I knew i was going to drill holes so i can fit it, but this bumper doesn't line up with my oem fenders, it kind of over laps it. I got the V-speed Duraflex front bumper cover - 1 piece #100886 If anyone knows what to do, as in if i have to over lap it, or cut one to fit or anything that would be great! But i wouldn't want to cut my fenders.

I think i may have to save down that end a little, but im not sure. But another thing is.

Should i make this shorter so i can hook it on to the brackets? or just cut the whole thing off? If you can tell me anything about putting on this bumper, that would be helpful, and you know, not just telling me to go to a autobody professional.

i think i got basically the same one. i ziptied it in the fenders and under the hood in the middle. it was pretty ghetto and not that secure haha. im rebuilding my motor right now and im gonna try and find a better way to mount it when i get the car back together. i was wondering the same thing, what is the best way to mount these kits. there arent any specific instructions unfortunately

i used the original center section from my stock bumper to bolt in between the headlights. and kinda tweaked my fenders till the bumper fit (kinda) and just ran a few self tapping screws and a longer bolt with fender washers near the front of the fender. not pretty. but sturdy and works fine for a missile.

Throw it away and get a better fitting bumper...not exactly rocket science. That or pay a body shop to modify/rebuild the bumper to fit properly.
