Also new a sti owner that got a ticket for his stock wing for blocking his vision....as if truck drivers can see in their rear-view. just buy a prius....only thing legal in california. fucking stupid state. |

CHP Bulletin No. 98-100
Q: Aren't all exhaust system modifications prohibited? A: No. Section 27151 VC prohibits the modification of the exhaust system to amplify or increase the noise emitted by the vehicle, making the vehicle not in compliance with Section 27150 VC or exceeding the noise limits established in Sections 27201-27206 VC. Section 27151 VC does not prohibit all modifications to an exhaust system. It also does not prohibit all modifications that increase the noise level of the exhaust system over that of the original, factory-installed exhaust system (as it did until 1980). It only prohibits modifications that result in a noise level higher than those specified In Sections 27201-27206 VC. Accurately determining compliance with Sections 27201-27206 VC for enforcement purposes is generally impractical. Enforcement personnel must make an informed professional evaluation to determine if excessive noise statutes are being violated. |

I second this opinion! Too many people want to look cool but can't drive their car at all. But in this case, he wouldn't even be looking very cool. Have a purpose behind any mod you make. Weight the + and the - of making that move. I mean seriously, do those pipes have any performance advantage? No! So, your gonna spend money to get tickets, not look cool, and have no actual hp gain. And yes, CHP will have a field day with some giant pipes sticking out of the rear of your car which obstruct your view, obstruct the visability of your tail light, and may even violate the law that says you cant have anything hang out 12" past your bumper with out having a red rag attached to it. Absolutely, Positively, 100%, Super, Mega, Huge Thumbs Down!!! |

originally, yeah but it was just a stop-over more or less.. In the Denver area now as this was our ultimate goal for several reasons. VegasDrift does an awesome job though and I've never heard a bad word about the events from any atendees.

lol damn there are some serious boso-haters out here.. Personally, yes I think the boso pipes that stick like 4 feet up look kind of funky.. but I like the ones that are pop up only less then a foot and are double exhausts... like this, or even maybe a little bit higher (yes this was taken from the recent fontana nissan show, this guys car was sick and the exhaust was loud as shit)

blast pipes look so much better.
But technically boso pipes aren't illegal but their not legal. Who knows...That would make trucks with stacks illegal too right? And tractor trailors exhausts illegal too? As long as it exits outside the vehicles body Its legal. |

I would never live in Cali cause I like having actual freedoms but DO WHAT YOU WANT. Zilvia has too many haters. Fuk what someone else thinks if you think it's cool and that's the look you want for YOUR car guess what?*It's your car.
I hate that there are so many people out there that think their opinions hold so much weight. These rims are played, that kit is old, that style is last year..... what the fuk ever. DO YOU
