Check all your grounds. Also make sure your dash plug is in properly. It may not be giving up the proper power to turn on the fuel pump when you turn it into ACC. Thats what happend to me when i thought i had a dead fuel pump lol. Your coil packs maybe going bad or your CAS may also be going bad. Im having the same problem except I am getting spark and my fuel pump is turning on but i dont know why my injectors wont fire up....Good Luck to you tho

the cas is usually the culprit if your having both spark and fuel issues at the same time.

The only thing that is incorrect here is that your fuel pump should prime once upon turning the key regardless if your cas is bad or not.
If it turns out to be your cas I have a brand new one Im willing to sell for a good price.

Ok, well your best matches on ecus will be the 62 or the e5. You can also use a 63 or e6 but those are for autos.
Dont go with a j4(5 speed) or j5(auto) because they are late model 180sx and they have a different pinout and you should have no trouble finding the other ones I listed for the same price.

I found my problem in the pigtail going into the fuel pump. Just called in a favor to a friend...to see if he can find me a fuel pump Assy. Good luck!
